Another interpretation is the words Rei meaning “spirit” or the “essence”, or “soul”, and on a deeper level, “divine intelligence.” Ki means vital life force energy” or “breath.” This is an energy to nurture and heal body, mind, heart, and spirit. It is a technique for stress release and relaxation that allows anyone to be able to tap into an infinite supply of life force energy to improve one’s health, and enhance the quality of life.
